Michiko earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in German and Spanish from Occidental College. She then went on to earn her Master of Arts degree in Linguistics with an emphasis in TESOL from California State University, Long Beach. Michiko enjoyed a lengthy career as an English teacher, and volunteered at animal sanctuaries on the weekends. It was during one of her visits to a local animal sanctuary that she formulated the idea to go to law school to pursue an interest in animal rights law. What she discovered while attending law school, and transitioning into the legal profession, is that her strong sense of justice and love of language found a home in law.
After passing the bar exam, she joined the team at Loveless Law Firm, and applies her determination and sense of fairness to assisting our clients. Outside of work, she still donates a lot of her time to various animal organizations, and runs a guinea pig rescue located in Orange County.
